Our Story
In January 2014, our Founder, Jane Finette, launched a personal blog post offering three pro-bono coaching places to young women leaders in the impact space. Passionate about women living their full potential, Jane’s idea was to give back some of her time to help a number of young women on their journey.
What began as a humble endeavor quickly grew to advance more and more social and environmental change women leaders across the globe. All made possible through a worldwide volunteer network of 220+ executive leadership coaches and experts.
In 2022 our original organization — The Coaching Fellowship, took a big next step on our journey to advance and accelerate the impact women in social change make — and became The Women’s Impact Alliance.
We’re the same organization with the same values and people doing the same important work, providing leadership development, coaching, and access to an extraordinary network of high potential and game-changing women leaders of impact.
Thousands of women of impact apply to The Women’s Impact Alliance every year, representing 85+ countries. Our impact community is made up of nonprofit leaders, social impact entrepreneurs, activists, scientists, artists, and more — all women leaders of impact dedicating their lives to building the world of tomorrow today.
